Motions to Amend End to End

In association with Virtual Patent Gateway, LLC (external link), Alyssa Holtslander from Unified Patents (external link) and Kevin McNish from McNish PLLC co-presented a one-hour webinar on motion to amend practice at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Filing a motion to amend in a Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceeding involves a host of strategic decisions, as does opposing a motion to amend. Those decisions must take into account not only the present, but also the future: not only the PTAB proceeding, but also any appeal to the Federal Circuit and any co-pending district court litigation. This webinar covers the law and procedure of motions to amend; statistics and trends about motions to amend; what happens after the PTAB decides a motion to amend; and practice tips for patent owners and petitioners.
